I spent 20 plus years in Disaster Recovery and Emergency Management planning and preparation, including developing plans of operations during a Pandemic event.
I would like to start a discussion on how we all prepare and proceed during our upcoming season… because I’m already seeing cancellations from long-standing clients..
Some initial questions would be..
1. How to proceed if we have a client who still wants an in person event ?
2. Should we set up a process via NORPAC for a video visit from Santa?
3. Any other thoughts or questions..April 4, 2020 at 12:23 pm #2028Russell Albright IIParticipant
Hmmm…. interesting questions for sure. I have had a request for this May/June for a visit, and I am not sure how I am going to do that visit right now. In your experience, what would you suggest be a process for the video visit?April 4, 2020 at 12:44 pm #2033Santa ChuckModerator
I am already planning for video visits. Just today placed an order for a backdrop thru Photo Prop and Floors. Same one that Santa Ed Taylor uses. coupon is santaed for 10% off.

I think a video conference would be great: may offer a distraction because you are sharing thoughts and ideas of how Santa may need to adjust next season, moving away for a short time from the current concerns you have about this virus. Just my “two cents”.April 4, 2020 at 3:07 pm #2035TonyParticipant
I would suggest check with IBRBS, see what they are looking at… also art (NORPAC) doing video conferencing for the Chapter Meeting and Conference… is it possible that this system could be used, in the event of Video visits..
I’m certain there are others who have more ideas on the subject, thats why I posted the questions.
