Back in August of 2008, I attended Santa Tims “School4Santa” in Washington. That was the first time I had a chance to meet other Real Bearded Santas. Right after attending this life changing Santa School, I joined the NORPAC Santas, as Idaho didn’t have anything to offer and I had not met any other Santas. Since that time, I’ve come a long way.  I’m now the President of the Idaho Chapter of IBRBS, Idaho Santas. I was also just elected to the Board of IBRBS and was just seated this last week.  I’m looking forward to the challenge. It has always been my hope that I would be able to get enough participants together to have Santa Tim bring his wealth of knowledge and his “School4Santa” to Boise and I’m proud to say, he has agreed.  I only hope I can get enough interest and other Santas to register for this class. I’m writing to ask that you please consider sharing this information with your Organization.  “School4Santa”  Boise, Idaho,  September., 10th and 11th. If you could be so kind as to let your Christmas Ambassadors know about this opportunity to come to Idaho and attend this class, I’m hoping that someone that is just starting out, like I was 15 years ago, can attend and learn some of the secrets “Behind The Red Suit” and perhaps make some memorable holiday experiences for many children. Santa Tim has initially updated his website showing the Northwest – Boise, as one of his sites for his school this year.

Santa Tim is checking on Hotels to see about getting a special rate. The Hampton Inn and The Hilton Garden Inn, both at the Spectrum in Boise are the two that I’ve suggested. The Idaho Santas have secured a training facility to hold the school so lodging is up to the students as to where they may want to stay.
